Annette is originally from Amherst, Ohio and moved to the Youngstown area in 2005. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Kent State University where she majored in Theatre with an emphasis in Stage Management. Upon graduation, Annette worked for various theatre and opera companies in the Cleveland area for a few years, but decided she needed a change. In 2005, she graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with her Master's of Library and Information Science degree with a focus on children's services and storytelling. Annette has worked for the Public Library in Youngstown and Mahoning County* since 2006 as a children's librarian, and she can say without reservation that she loves her job, especially story times with the kids. Outside of work, Annette enjoys reading, knitting, watching old movies with her husband, and hanging out with family. She is also the proud mom of a dog named Rocky and a cat named Gypsy.
Amanda was born and raised in the Lowellville area of Mahoning County. She graduated from Ursuline High School and then went on to attend Westminster College where she received a B.A. in Education in 1999. After Westminster, Amanda attended Kent State University where she received her Master's of Library and Information Science degree (with a focus on children's literature and programming) in 2000. In addition to working for Super Kool Kids Parties, Amanda is currently employed by the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County* where she has worked as a children's librarian and programmed extensively for kids of all ages since 2001. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys listening to all kinds of music, going to movies, rooting for the Cleveland Indians, and spending time with her family and pets.* Super Kool Kids Parties is separate from and not affiliated with the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County.
